Known as the “Beam Team”, our team of highly-skilled EWP Design Techs help you save both time and money by ensuring things are done right.

Woodford Plywood’s Engineered Products and Technical Support department provides information technology assistance and layouts for the promotion and sales of our Engineered Wood Products. These products include I-joists, Laminated Veneer Lumber, (LVL) Long Strand Lumber (LSL), glulam beams, glulam columns and open web floor joists.

Specification and layout services are provided to our customers and their building contractors at no charge. Working directly with customers and their building contractors, our Technical Department is able to provide the best structural and most cost effective design using plans and specifications provided by an architect or building designer. These specifications and layouts are always submitted to the building contractor for design and dimension review and verification.
